OK, we picked on Adam for this but we all eat a little humble pie on our predictions from the Apple Keynote
The Mac show
The Mac show. We discuss everything Apple, Mac, Apple TV, iPad, iPhone and iPod. Will Green, Dr Happy Mac, Don McAllister, Kyle Swager and Ewen Rankin shoot the breeze on Apple.
We get together online with The London Mac User Group to cover the Apple Keynote that sees iPhone 6 and the Apple Watch
We have a bit of a time zone, I forgot, I have a meeting type meltdown and in the end it comes down to the match that even Don King wanted to promote. Kelly vs Ewen.
This week, traffic conditions in the North of England intervene and we only get to do one show, but as the BIG stories are wearables, we mesh The BIG Show panel and The Mac Show Panel together and have a good old chinwag on the subject before my fathers diabetes ends the show. He’s fine btw.
Batwench confesses her undying love for Keith Chegwin when Ewen picks his Fave Joke App as his cool thingy. Don McAllister, Ben Roethig and the inimitable Will Green discuss the week in Apple, with some tangents
Chris Breen and his hair join the panel for a whizz through the Mac News of the week
Sorry that we have left you high and dry for the past couple of weeks, but please have a listen to The BIG Show from last week to tide you over. Normal Service will be resumed shortly.
Bryan Chaffin gets his tech up and running and Don McAllister rejoins the team after a hiatus involving a cruise to…Liverpool. Yes
Andy Ihnatko and Bryan Chaffin join the main team for a look at Google IO and the impact on Apple and some new specs and pricing
We kick of a little earlier than normal, but of course we don’t and David Sparks has the ultimate tip for late arrivals. ALL the watch rumours of the week and more
We hit the post Apple Rumour mill yet again now the keynote is done, but also we look at 10 days in on Yosemite, iOS8 and Dylan.V3
We assemble THE panel of mac experts to dissect the Keynote from Apple and Livestream lets us down. Sorry for the delay in getting this posted but we’ve had a mare.
Host: Paul Wheatley
This week Paul is joined by Eric Arduini, Kelly Guimont, Alan Howshall & Doc Rock to discuss all things that go in your pocket including iOS 8 rumours, Android Lollypop and The Surface Pro 3
Kelly Guimont: Using Siri with OmniFocus for iPhone & iPad £FREE
Alan Howshall: Folders (Beta) £FREE
Doc Rock: Elevate £FREE & DJay 2 £2.99
Eric Arduini: Amazon App Store £FREE, Google + update £FREE & Dosecast £FREE
Paul: Everypost £FREE
Kelly, Adam, Jeff & Ewen are joined by Melissa ‘The Mac Mommy’ Davis for the first time and shoot through the oceans and oceans of Mac News from the wires.
The Mac News leaves open some room for debate and some off topic conversations. Maybe there will be more soon to talk about.
Are you ruled by The Moon?
Apple makes Dr Dre a confirmed Billionaire, The iPhone 6 rumours abound but we give those a miss and ‘Livescream’ has a meltdown
Tom Merritt returns to the fold as does Mr William Green…who is allegedly posting a podcast on Monday Morning. All the Mac News and the latest in Beards and Beard Trimming from the crew
Steve Naybour gives us his insight to Apple’s Roadmap and the team suggest that rather than spending my money on Faberge Eggs, I should invest in Apple Stock. Paul Wheatley offers to demonstrate when a Faberge Egg will ‘fit’
WARNING, There may be a sweary in here. I apologise but I cant find it.
The Mac Show is free and loose and recorded in Zurich this week. Work has ravaged the two shows Ewen does and its all got a big commando…in more whys that one. Jeff Gamet would be proud.
A massive panel this week and the tech holds up as we look back at what was a fantastic Macworld and fun time for all concerned.
Paul Kent starts of a spangly panel with Ken Ray making a debut and Jean McDonald from App Camp 4 Girls coming along too. Paul Wheatley, Adam Christianson and Allison Sheridan round out a fantastic panel.
