The Northern bash is just the same as the Regular bash except its located a bit further North, Scotland in fact.
Expect the same British Tech fun you would get from the Summer Bash in Birmingham but with a Gamer twist. We will have a number of consoles and tournaments running throughout the day on big screens such as Mario Kart 8 and Halo, we are also planning on getting a couple of Retro consoles for you to play on during the afternoon.
Unlike the summer bash the Norther Bash is a BYoB event and we will be ordering in takeaway food to consume in the evening at the venue so don't worry about securing places for the Bash curry, just remember to bring along some cash to chip in for the delivery when it arrives!
It is on from 3pm to midnight on Saturday the 6th of December 2014 though folks will be there from 2pm setting up.

There are a number of hotels and Bed and Breakfasts in the local area, just search for 'Melrose, Scottish Borders' or 'Galashiels, Scottish borders' on any hotel site and you should find something in your budget.
Before you ask… No. there are no big chain hotels near by (e.g. Premier Inn, Travel Lodge, etc…) the closest one of there is in Edinburgh, approximately 30miles away.
Also, Sam might have space in his shed, but you will need to check with Ed is there is space.
